Community Activities

Introducing the HFL Employability Programme
At Homes for Lambeth, we have a role in ensuring you have access to more opportunities including; apprenticeships, jobs and training. We are developing partnerships with contractors, local businesses, training providers and other stakeholders to make sure you can benefit from our plans and activities.

Apprenticeship Workshops

We are looking to recruit several apprentices across several of our departments. The apprenticeship opportunities will range from Level 2 to Level 5, and our apprenticeship programme will commence in the new year with applications opening up at the end of October.
If you are interested in one of the upcoming apprentice vacancies, we are hosting a virtual workshop on Wednesday 07 October 2020 from 10 to 11 am.

There will be additional future workshops throughout October. These workshops will allow you to find out more information about the roles and give an opportunity to discuss working for Homes for Lambeth and the application process. In addition, CV advice and guidance will be available upon request.

To register for the workshop or for more information, please contact Eamonn Lorimer, our Social Inclusion Programme Co-ordinator on [email protected] or Filipa Baptista on [email protected]

Thank you to everyone who took part!

Estate Matters
Lambeth council have agreed to close up the hole under the walkway near the alley by Allington Court due to complaints brought to our attention by the Resident Engagement Panel and Councillor Linda Bray. They will be using metal to ensure it is not broken into again. We are keen to stop the anti-social behaviour due to this and are working closely with Lambeth council.

Your Homes For Lambeth

I’m Josh, an intern who has been working in the communications team at Homes for Lambeth for the past ten weeks.

As a resident of Westbury estate, it’s been an interesting and rewarding experience to work with Homes for Lambeth. I was thrilled to discover that Homes for Lambeth were offering several internships targeted at their future residents, advertised through one of the newsletters.

My experience has made me realise that Homes for Lambeth’s project is about building stronger communities that can thrive, and I’m fortunate to have such an amazing experience.
I hope HFL create similar opportunities for other residents in the same way HFL did for me. We all have potential, and everyone deserves to have access to these opportunities.
