On Saturday 15 January, Homes for Lambeth held a walkabout on Westbury Estate with Tibbalds Planning and Urban Design and Metropolitan Workshop Architects to look at plans for the second phase of Westbury Estate’s wider regeneration proposals as set out in the current reserved matters planning application. Homes for Lambeth’s Resident Engagement team and Tibbalds and Metropolitan Workshop accompanied two groups of residents.
Phase 2 of the Westbury Estate regeneration will deliver 124 new and replacement homes, including a proportion of affordable homes for existing Council tenants and resident homeowners. 10% of the homes will be wheelchair accessible to meet the needs of those with disabilities.
Homes for Lambeth invited members of Westbury Resident Engagement Panel (REP), and other residents who have shown an interest in the new development plans. Tibbalds and Metropolitan Workshop were on hand throughout the day to answer lots of questions and give details on the Phase 2 plans.
We’d like to thank all of those who came out to Westbury Estate for the walkabout this weekend. We hope to see you again soon!
