As you will be aware, last October Lambeth Council’s Planning Committee resolved to grant Homes for Lambeth planning permission to demolish Truslove House and replace it with 31 new affordable family homes. 21 of these new homes will be at council level rent, with the remainder shared ownership.
The priority for these new homes will be secure tenants and resident homeowners' who currently live on the estate. Residents who were previously living in the hostel have been found suitable accommodation elsewhere by Lambeth Council. Access to the site has now been restricted to allow works to start on-site in a safe way. The site has been prepared and is now ready for demolition. This work will start in the next few days. If you have any questions about these works, please contact your Resident Engagement Officer, Maxine. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org

If you are concerned that the works may impact your health, please contact the Liveability Team at the council. Their contact details are below: email@example.com / 0207 926 6000
Homes for Lambeth will also be consulting with residents about the landscaping around the new homes. This will be published in upcoming newsletters. You can also sign up for email updates on this, and other news about the rebuilding of Central Hill here.
