We are running a paid internships Summer Placement Scheme as part of our new employability programme. Anyone is able to apply. However, we’d particularly welcome applicants who are living on one of the estates that Homes for Lambeth will be rebuilding.
Whilst intern programmes are often aimed at university students, for this year we want to focus on individuals who may have experienced a change in their circumstances due to COVID 19. During the internship period you will be paid £500 per week (pro-rata if part time). The programme is designed to run for a maximum of 12 weeks. You can apply for a six or 12 week programme. The full programme must be completed in order to be awarded a certificate.
We are specifically looking for candidates who have an interest in any of the following:
- Resident Engagement
- You must not currently be in full time paid work elsewhere
- Priority will be given to those living on one of the estates that Homes for Lambeth will rebuild and those who live in the London Borough of Lambeth
- Right to work in the UK
We are aware of the issues the COVID 19 crisis is having on our BAME and other affected communities and hope this opportunity can be of benefit to those impacted.
Applications must be received by no later than 5pm, Friday 19 June 2020.
Successful applicants must be available to commence the week of 03 August 2020.
