South Lambeth construction update

• The dryliners will continue the making good of the walls and ceilings on the fourth and fifth floors.

• Electrical finals will continue on the ground and first floors and begin on the second and third floors. Communal wiring will continue, in addition to running cables along the fourth floor walkway from the plots.

• The plumbers will continue the second fixing on the fourth and fifth floors. Fitting radiators etc. They will continue working on the external communal walkways by running the services from the plots and along the walkway. Plumbing finals will continue on the 2nd floor. This will involve installing sanitary wares such as the toilet pan and shower heads.

• The carpenters will install ironmongery in the second floor plots and complete various snagging items.

• The tiler will continue tiling and grouting the bathrooms and kitchens and completing various snagging items.

• The floor layers will begin laying of the main plot vinyl, bathroom vinyl and internal stair vinyl on the fourth and fifth floors.

• The roofers will continue laying the paving slabs on the fourth floor roof. They will also start the paving slabs on the fifth level balconies.

• The groundworkers will begin to lay the block paving for the parking bays next to our vehicle gates. They will also start excavating other areas in preparation for the hard landscaping.

• The bricklayers will start building the planter on GL 1 and GL 10

• There will be deliveries for electricians, plumbers, carpenters, and dryliners. Skip exchanges are scheduled for Wednesdays.

• Virgin Media will continue lowering the ducts on Cobbett Street.

• We will be receiving three new welfare cabins on Wednesday, 22 June, which will be located next to our vehicle gates on top of the new block paving. The old welfare setup, consisting of five cabins, will be collected on Friday, 24 June, using a flatbed lorry with a crane and will take one day to complete.

Upcoming Works

• W/C 27/06/22 Ringways, on behalf of Lambeth council, will begin their Section 278 works on Cobbett Street. This will include but is not limited to removing the tarmac road, adding new gullies and drainage, building two new bellmouths, constructing designated car parking spaces and resurfacing works. A further newsletter will be issued on W/C 20/06/22.
