Social Investment Support Intern

Salary Range £500 week

We’re looking for an, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Homes for Lambeth team as a Social Investment support intern, as part of our 12 week programme. You will be willing to work closely with our residents and their communities to support them as Homes for Lambeth (HFL) build more and better homes across Lambeth.

As the Social Investment Support Intern you will report to the Social Investment Programme Co-ordinator and be an integral part of the Social Investment team. The post holder should be self-motivated, with a keen desire to solve problem and work autonomously and as part of a team. Good communication skills and prioritising workloads are also essential for this role. Candidates should have a GCSE English and Maths at grade A-C or equivalent. You will also need to be able to use Microsoft office as this will contribute to your main duties. 

The Social Investment Support Intern will be required to support and engage with different parts of the organisation as well as with Lambeth Council, Contractors, Training Providers, Stakeholders and Lambeth Residents. Duties will include communicating with residents, resolving issues and logging information correctly. You will also need to priortise and manage high volumes of emails and calls. The successful candidate will also be visiting site hubs with social value and IT colleagues to run IT drop in sessions for residents with queries.
