Over the coming weeks, we will be conducting several short interviews with members of the Homes for Lambeth team.
Today Jeannette takes the stage:
Q: What does a Resident Engagement and Communications Manager do?
A: I co-ordinate, organise, manage and deliver resident engagement and social investment programme activities with our wonderful new team. I also look after regular communications such as newsletters, e-bulletins and responses to queries.
Q: What did you do before you came to work for Homes for Lambeth?
A: I’ve spent 20 years involved in community development through a variety of roles and organisations covering arts, heritage and community engagement. Most recently before joining Homes for Lambeth I worked for a national environmental, health & wellbeing charity.
Q: Why did you come to work for Homes for Lambeth?
A: I was and still am most impressed with the care and passion to deliver the mission of building thriving communities and better futures. I want to be part of this and hope I can support and help.
Q: What do you do in your spare time?
A: So when I’m not just being ‘taxi-mum’ to teenage kids or driving my son to Sunday football matches, I enjoy yoga, performing arts and dance, a growing addiction to Japanese anime and Hamilton!
