What a typical day at Homes for Lambeth is like for me?
My role covers a wide range of work from the pre-development stage through to the delivery of new homes. These responsibilities mean no one day is the same, I could be looking at designs for new homes, visiting our construction sites and engaging with residents at one of our events, all in the same week.
What brought me to the position at Homes for Lambeth?
I have worked in the housing sector for more than 20 years, my passion for good quality homes comes from growing up on a council estate and seeing the opportunities it provided for my family. These opportunities meant I could pursue my dreams. My objective at Homes for Lambeth is to deliver much needed affordable homes to provide all of our residents the ability to flourish.
What I’m most proud of professionally?
Living on a council estate in North London and having the aspiration to study Architecture, the support of my family meant I could fulfil this.
Before joining Homes for Lambeth, I was at Berkeley Homes where I spent five years in a number of roles, including Head of Technical and Development Director working on major developments including Goodman’s Fields and Trent Park delivering up to 1,500 much-needed homes in London.
What do you enjoy outside work?
Spending time with my young family especially watching my two boys play football for their local team. I’m also a big fan of Manchester United and am looking forward to watching our progress this season.
