Communinty Activites

Homes for Lambeth wants to support and encourage a growing number of resident activities at Knights Walk such as the cooking session and tile making workshop with the Garden Museum. In March we’ll be visiting the imperial war museum following your suggestion. Please get in touch to join us on this visit.

If you have other ideas for projects and activities that we could work together to develop, contact Wendy Bohan on 020 7926 7026 or email [email protected]

What's been going on?

Cooking Session at the Garden Museum The Garden Museum recently hosted Knights Walk residents for a cookery session. Over the day residents worked with Ceri, a Food Educator to make carrot and coriander soup, flat breads and apple crumble. The group used different techniques and ingredients to produce a meal with increased fibre and nutrition whilst reducing the use of salt, sugar and fat.

The Garden Museum runs regular events and workshops. Upcoming events include the “Grow yourself healthy” workshop and an art fair; “ Super Nature”.

To find out more contact the Museum by phone on 020 7401 8865 or visit the website at www.gardenmuseum.org.uk.

The Garden Museum is at 5 Lambeth Palace Road, London SE1 7LB

If you have never tried yoga before why not pop down and have a go.

Your Homes for Lambeth

Hello, I work with Homes for Lambeth and am your Resident Engagement Officer. I have worked in the housing field for over 25 years; covering housing welfare for 5 years before moving to resident involvement and community work which I
am passionate about.

Outside of work I get out kayaking when I can and also enjoy wildlife photography and the arts generally. You’ll see me around the estate and at the weekly drop ins. Always ready for a chat and a natter, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
