Issuing Initial demolition notices for South Lambeth, Westbury and Knight’s Walk

Residents who live on the South Lambeth Estate, Westbury Estate and Knight’s Walk will be receiving towards the end of the month (July 2016) a formal notice that the Council is planning to demolish their home property in the future. 

The notice is called an 'Initial Demolition Notice'. The Initial Demolition Notice will formally confirm that your property will be demolished within the next 7 years as set out in the Cabinet decisions for each estate.

Issuing this notices allows the regeneration programme to proceed, but it does not mean that demolition is about to start. Demolition will only start  after planning permission is granted and a further document, the Final Demolition Notice, has been issued to you

To make sure residents can get their questions answered the Council is writing to each estate over the next day or so. In addition the Council has published a number of ‘question and answers’ which can be seen by clicking here

South Lambeth

Wednesday 20 July: 4.00 – 6.00pm at Wimborne House Caretakers’ Office, Dorset Road
Monday 25 July: 5.00 – 7.00pm at Wimborne House Caretakers’ Office, Dorset Road
