Homes for Lambeth announces new Chair for its Registered Provider HFL Homes

Homes for Lambeth has appointed Alison Muir as the new Chair of HFL Homes, Homes for Lambeth’s Registered Provider.  

Alison Muir takes over the role from Richard Stevens. Alison will be taking on this role at an exciting time for HFL Homes, with residents moving into 80 new homes at Westbury and Knight’s Walk, this year. Alison has been a member of the HFL Homes Board since March 2020 and brings with her a wealth of experience in resident services. 

Alison Muir said: 

“I am delighted to take over as Chair of the HFL Homes Board. I have been a member of this Board for over a year, and it has been a pleasure to work with such a talented and hard-working team to deliver on Homes for Lambeth’s goal of building thriving communities and better futures for residents. 

Delivering a high standard of services is very important to me, I have spent over 20 years working within the housing sector and improving the lives of residents is at the top of my priority list.” 

Caroline Pillay, Chair of Homes for Lambeth Group, welcomed the news and said: 

“I am excited to welcome Alison into this new position. She brings a significant level of experience and lives by the values of strong governance and strategic planning that will be vital in delivering for residents. 

Our residents will have a high expectation from HFL Homes and under Alison’s leadership and the commitment of HFL staff, those expectations will be met and surpassed”.
