Salary Range £41,000 to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience – PERMANENT, FULL TIME CONTRACT

Working directly with the Head of Governance and HFL’s Executive Team, you will be an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated individual who is willing to work closely with our Boards and Committees. You will be part of an organisation committed to delivering to our residents and their communities as Homes for Lambeth (HFL) builds more and better homes across the borough.
We are looking for an experienced Governance Officer to join our Governance team. It is an interesting and exciting time to join the Governance Team and help to shape the governance function, as HFL delivers on its corporate objectives.
You will work as part of the team to provide effective and dynamic support to the Boards and Committees, contributing towards excellence in governance at HFL. You will plan and organise the meetings and other Board events. You will need to have solid experience of taking formal minutes and good knowledge of the processes that follow Board and Committee meetings.
The post holder will also support the provision of a range of services to Board Members, including training, development, and away days. The postholder will assist in developing and managing processes and controls to ensure that all activities comply with relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
This is a diverse role which will enable you to get involved in many activities relating to the governance function and policy framework at HFL.
