Fenwick South update from Mulalley's

Each month we will give you an update on works we have carried out and what we will be doing next.

What’s been happening

We are due to recommence works on Monday 18th October with the continuation of the ground remediation.

As with most brownfield sites in London, there are small levels of contamination present within the existing soils. To ensure the safety of the future residents, we are required to deal with this and remove from site in order to clean it up and alleviate any future concerns.

We are making sure we remove any contamination from the site in order to clean it up. To minimise disruption for local residents, we intend to remove soil from the site and move it in sealed lorries for off-site disposal.

All works will be carried out under the supervision of a Health and Safety Executive (HSE) approved licenced contractor. They will constantly monitor the work to ensure the safety of local residents, businesses and people working on the site. This aspect of work will take about four to five weeks.

We will continue to work on the designs of the building and will provide you with another update next month.

A word from us

Please be reassured that we are trying to keep disruption to a minimum. We will give notice of works and keep noise / dust to a minimum. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Parking Bays

To provide safer road conditions we will continue the suspension of the parking bays in Cottage Grove.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Site safety is very important
