Homes for Lambeth is a company wholly owned by Lambeth Council. Our aim is to build, for the council, strong and sustainable communities, and delivering high-quality homes. Our ambitious programme, which you can see on the ‘our projects’ tab, sets out our goal to maximise the number of homes provided at genuinely affordable rents.

We are looking to recruit a number of apprentices across several of our departments. The apprenticeship opportunities will range from Level 2 to Level 5. Our apprenticeship programme will commence in the new year and the applications will open up later this year.

If you are interested in one of the upcoming apprentice vacancies, we are hosting a virtual workshop on Wednesday 07 October 2020 from 10 to 11am, with future workshops throughout October. These workshops will allow participants to find out more information about the roles and give an opportunity to discuss working for Homes for Lambeth and the application process. In addition, CV advice and guidance will be available upon request.

Our first Summer Internship Programme recently came to an end. The focus of this programme was to provide opportunities to residents on the estates Homes for Lambeth will be rebuilding, particularly residents from Black, Asian, minority ethnic communities.

The interns will be working at Homes for Lambeth for 12 weeks and were paid above the London Living Wage. They supported our work in five areas:

  • Resident Engagement
  • Communications
  • IT
  • Human Resources
  • Employability
